Winner of the Latvian Startup Awards 2025 in the Impact Category!
We are proud to announce that ProtiumTech has been named the winner of the Impact category at the Latvian Startup Awards 2025. The award recognizes startups that are mission-driven and have made a significant impact on society and the startup ecosystem.
The Latvian Startup Awards celebrate the most outstanding achievements in Latvia’s startup ecosystem. The winners were announced during the annual awards ceremony held on December 5, 2025, in Riga, where leading founders and ecosystem partners gathered to recognize the most impactful startups of the year.
We received the Impact award for our work in developing next-generation electrolysis systems designed to significantly reduce the cost of green hydrogen production. By enabling more affordable and scalable green hydrogen, the company aims to accelerate the transition toward cleaner industrial energy systems and support the decarbonization of heavy industry.
Winning this award is an important milestone for our team and a recognition of the work we have done over the past years to bring our technology from scientific research toward industrial deployment. It also highlights the growing role of deep-tech and climate technology startups in Latvia.
